Our learning purpose
World Word Search combines the attention of a word-search puzzle with short sourced lessons and retrieval questions, so finding a term becomes the start of learning rather than the end.
Each puzzle follows a deliberate cycle: recognise a term, locate it, read an explanation, connect it to a wider subject, retrieve the knowledge in a quiz, and review feedback. The aim is comprehension and durable recall rather than random trivia.
The catalogue contains ten general subject categories, and each category supports multiple word searches rather than one fixed grid. The tested baseline is at least 20 non-repeating ten-word puzzles in every general category—200 subject puzzles—plus 1,189 chapter-based Bible activities. That is at least 1,389 structured puzzle-and-quiz learning activities, with further unseen vocabulary allocated from the reference-backed knowledge feeds.
A category puzzle draws from constrained, subject-specific knowledge feeds and allocates ten previously unseen terms to each learner. Places stay with exploration, medicine with health, food with agriculture, and so on; the learner’s D1 history prevents the same hidden answer from being issued again in that category.
UK Politics & Democracy progresses from Beginner foundations such as Parliament, elections and representation, through Intermediate law-making and scrutiny, to Advanced constitutional principles including devolution, judicial review, parliamentary sovereignty and conventions. The level describes the pathway’s content complexity; it is not a formal qualification and the lessons avoid party promotion, polling and current-officeholder trivia.
Discovery copy should define the exact term in plain language, explain how it works or fits its context, state why it matters and give a memorable fact. Each card links to further reading and a named primary or institutional source.
Scores reflect completed word finds, quiz answers, hints and time inside this game. They can motivate practice, but they are not a formal qualification, diagnostic test or substitute for a teacher’s professional judgement.

The service is live and its content is continually reviewed. Discovery cards use interface-generated learning visuals rather than unlicensed third-party photographs. Please report factual, accessibility, safeguarding or functional concerns through the Contact page so they can be investigated.
