Return to the church-access panel to create a church/Sunday-school teacher profile or join as a child or teenager. Both routes remain free and separate from Pro.
Churches and Sunday schools
How church teachers and young learners use the free pathway
A Sunday-school or youth teacher creates a church learning profile and shares one join code. Linked children and teenagers receive free access to the subject catalogue and chapter-based Bible pathway.
Teacher setup
Choose the church-teacher option, sign in with your own permitted Google account, and complete the church name, ministry role, location, country and age groups taught. Confirm that your church will manage consent, safeguarding and account use. The system then creates a seven-character church code.
Share only the code
Give the church code to the children or teenagers whose participation has been authorised by the church and their parent or guardian where required. Do not put names, dates of birth, medical information, addresses or pastoral notes into World Word Search.
Child or teenager setup
The learner chooses Join your church with a code, signs in with a permitted or supervised Google account, enters the seven-character church code and selects Child (5–11) or Teenager (12–17). They should choose a public username that does not reveal their full legal name.
Bible chapters
Choose Bible chapters, then either continue to the next unseen chapter or select a book and chapter. The initial corpus is the clearly labelled Protestant 66-book canon: 1,189 chapter activities using the public-domain World English Bible British Edition.
Learning and quiz
Each chapter activity selects ten words that occur in that chapter, places them horizontally, vertically and diagonally, supplies chapter-and-verse discovery cards, and ends with ten source-grounded questions. Correct word finds and quiz answers contribute to the learner’s score.
Safeguarding responsibility
World Word Search does not verify a volunteer’s appointment or replace church safeguarding procedures. The church remains responsible for permission, supervision, approved accounts, devices, display names and responding to concerns. Contact the operator without sending a password or a child’s sensitive information.
